Danielle 'No. 1' O'Brien
Forged in the fires of fandom, Danielle is the standard that all other comic book shop clerks hopelessly try to emulate.
A valiant veteran of lesser shops that aren’t fit to wipe the Pig’s snout, Danielle, alone, without adequate support or provision, held the line, and kept those sorry establishments afloat with a sense of professionalism and dedication they did not merit.
Unlike the overwhelming majority of comic clerks (bloated, crusty-assed nitwits incapable of the greater, more noble human emotions), Danielle is prized by the Pig for her impeccable sense of courtesy, good cheer, diligence, and, most refreshingly, the fact that she is human (“human” meant in the literal sense).
Mildly alarming Alex Ross fetish aside (already our psychotherapy staff has proscribed treatment), Danielle is “No. 1” to the Founders, the invaluable second-in-command who maintains the daily pace in the Pig’s march to victory.
